I'm just wondering which do people find more difficult a real time RPG or a turn based one? (This being overall for all games.

    real-time should be harder..
    it's like a sim, fast-paced action..
where actions effectively take place at the allowed speed of the button press
thus it requires more eye-hand coordination, while trying to make the right move at the right time..

    turn based is more relaxed..
you usually can take as much time as you need to plan your moves/attack/etc within your turn
but this usually means more strategy/tactical thinking
Blink & you might miss it! ;3

Oh, keep sig at 600x180 px & 49KB, yah?

It depends on the RPG. In PSO, I can rock ass while in FF games, I get my ass rocked. Likewise, in stuff like Breath of Fire or the first PS game, I'm pretty good, but I keep getting 0wned in Shining Soul GBA.

It all depends on the game.

turn based is much harder IMO mainly becuase you attack then there is nothing you can do to really dodge or block an attack from your opponent...

Real Time. In turn based you can relax and think of the best choices. However, in real time you must think on the fly and if it is a game like StarCraft, you MUST work fast.

What would you count Star Ocean 2 for PSX as? In case you've never played it, its engine is pretty unique. It's real time, and you run around an arena, but you pick attack or magic, somewhat like secret of mana except in an arena. You'd have to play it to understand it.

Depends on the developer the player, and the type of game. I mean do you find it easier to kill Falz or to kill Sephiroth?
there are to many comparrisons to really tell. Each is harder for different reasons. (I didn't vote if you couldn't tell...)
