Can't you Import your characters from Ep 1 and 2?

Yeah. My brother just got it today and he was wondering why it is he can't import his character into Ep3. Is it even possible? Or is there some sort of trick required?

they are completly different games with different XP systems...

Different system of gameplay, why would you think that the characters would transfer. You can still make your character model and start anew. WOOHOO! Antoher 800 hours into my gaming life with EPISODE 3!
