Question about the soul eater quests..

So, yeah, simple question. Can you get the soul eater in any difficulty mode? Or just ultimate...or maybe the quality of it changes? i don't know, I'm in Very Hard right now, and just wondering if it's even worth it to set my sights on the S.E. in the near future. Stupid Kireek, he doesn't need it. Thanks for input...

Its the same weapon either way any difficutly. You can only get it once per difficutly too btw. Soul Banish would be the better version but thats a dropped item.
