Sega should really include these little details in the manual hehe! Here is the problem: Japanese names never have hyphens in them, so on the HL reg. page, names with hypens are not accepted as part of a name. The first time you register if your cardholders name has a hypen, it will allow you to play for a day or two, until the next server update, i belive. Then your account is 'removed', except when you try to re-register with the same name, it says you have a license already; dont be fooled by this, you dont! Just put the name into one word <carl-smith would be carlsmith> and all SHOULD work fine; at least this has worked for me. I dont think many of you will run into this problem, but if you have ANY wierd characters in the cardholders name, remove them, and try to keep the name at least similar.
