Just one thing... how does this contribute as a rant?
Other than that... see where the 'M' is in 'Mon.'? That's where I live.
His house is about to get 0wned. Doesn't that fucking justify a rant?!
"Sword logic? That's cute."

Items to pack:
Clothes
Computer
Game System
Personal Objects
Not too hard is it?
Really stinks, I feel sorry for ya man.
Well, from the current forecast, there's a chance it'll come far enough inland to hit where I live. Don't think it will, though. Good luck to ya, teflon.

Floridians view hurricanes as inconveniences (until we get hit).On 2004-09-01 19:14, WraithVerge wrote:

The traffic will SUCK driving home to Tampa.
^ Exactly right - it's not merely a matter of packing your belongings and going to a friend's house, there's a lot more to consider. Pets, your windows, the belongings you're leaving behind, the friends you're leaving behind, the contents of your refridgerator, etc...
There are STILL people in Charlotte county who do not have electricity yet from the last hurricane, Hurricane Charly, who hit us only 3 weeks ago. It's kind of hard to believe sometimes that something that formed in the Sahara desert can come to Florida and wreak havoc.
My only hope is that all of you who will be affected by this can find safety somewhere - schools, arenas, etc.. are all designated shelters for disaster situations.
It's sort of amazing, actually - with news in the air of a Hurricane, there is a certain buzz all around us. You just know something really fucking huge (Frances is a type 4 with 140mph winds) is on its way to your neck of the woods. It's sort of scary, but then again, it's sort of a reminder that we're all alive...
Damn, I love this!
florida is really a disaster zone nowadays.
feel bad for them.
