First DS Launch Title

Activision's Spiderman 2 the game is Nintendo DS's first official launch title. It even has a box art (which is subject to change, by the way).

Also, the box for DS. It seems Nintendo has a "keep it simple" thing going on with DS. And don't even get me started on the similarities between DS cases and Dreamcast cases.

Ah, well, I was looking in my Nintendo Power today and saw all the games they already have planned to be released.

Seems like the DS will have a few more launch titles, and more soon after launch.

I can't wait.

Thanks for the find, that does look like a Dreamcast box art.

I'll probably use Pictochat more than any actual game, though.

Well, i like the DS logo and console box design, looks really snazzy and a bit more grown up for Nintendo. The style on the gameboxes is nice too, i wonder if we will be getting crappy cardboard boxes this time like the GB/C/A or if we will get some funky plastic ones ala Neo Geo Pocket Colour.

I'm betting that with Pictochat and Metroid Prime Hunters: First Hunt, I'm probably gonna sit around for a bit before I get a game.

That was a big concern when the Spiderman 2 box was shown on 1UP's forums. However, check the pics below. They are plastic, around the size of CD and PlayStation cases.

Bonus! Finally Nintendo realise's that some of us dont want to throw our boxes away or see them disintergrate through years of use. The DS just keeps getting better and better by me.
