Red weapons are powerful, "easy-to-find" rare weapons that share a common theme. Most of them have fairly high grinds giving them a large atp boost. Also, they are among the most useful weapons for a Hunter, especially the Red Sword and Red Handgun.

i freaking love the Red Sword! Whenever i make a hunter i always make sure i find or trade for a red sword.
