The hunt for ragol ring

I was following the walkthrough here, but then it mentioned doing 'Knowing one's heart" and talking to Bernie AFTER doing Osto's research.


I was following the list on the walkthrough and I had thought it was in a order of quests to do, but apparently there are two walkthroughs on how to do it here?

My question is: Does that mean I have to start the whole thing over on a different difficulty?

Or is there a way to salvage this?

As long as you did tell Sue your name, you can make it, not telling Sue your name is the only way to screw it.

I haven't even done that quest yet....what is the exact walkthrough to follow on this site? I've found two....

Or can someone keep it really step-by-step simple?

"Do this quest, this quest, this quest, talk to bernie, do this quest, this quest, talk to sue, then do ep2 seat of heart."

Maybe I'm just overcomplicating it, or maybe the faqs make it seem a lot more 'detail perfect' than it really needs to be?

Which FAQ are you using? I'll be able to help once I find out that, also do expect to use the Ragol ring in Ult as you'll lose it very easily... I lost it to a Crimsion Assassin >_<
