I bought a PSO game for gamecube and tried to get on. Found out someone had already registered it so I asked them if they could reset the info. They could not. Awwww. No gamecube PSO for me .

I can understand why though. I mean someone could come over, take the game from you and steal it by doing that so Im ok with that. Still crappy though. I might get that PSO plus. There are some peeps that are selling ones that have never been opened.

    Call back.
Tell them that you activated GC PSO with that serial, that your Gamecube broke and that you got a new one and it won't let you connect.

Ask them to reset it so you can play with your "new" Gamecube.

That only worked with the Dreamcast I think, since the Serial/Access went to the DC hardware and not the memory card.

its the serial that comes in the box that is in question. thats why they wont do it. Get PSO plus. you get a few extra perks in the game and it is cheaper that the original anyway.

Yes, that excuse would only work for the Dreamcast version. The serial number isn't tied to the hardware anymore. As the previous poster suggested, it might be a good idea to pick up Plus. You should be able to find it fairly cheap. It has some bug fixes and and features a few additional quests that Episode 1 and 2 does not have.
