I had about 12 characters saved onto my computer using action replay for backups and whatnot because I changed xboxes. Well now about 8 months later when I re-purchase a hunter's license on a new gamertag and try to do multi-mode by loading them on my mem card it says character data is damaged... What is this? Is it because of that new update I got?

plain, how many characters are you trying to load? You can only do one at a time. Also, there is a step in the process that no matter what you do, if you miss it, you'll have corrupted characters.
