I have been playing the game with a friend this weekend using my HUcaseal, he was using a HUcast. He was doing A LOT more damage naturally, but there seemed to be no real difference in ATA. We were only in hard, level 25 or so on both, but neither of us missed. I believe i missed more often then he had when using daggers.
Anyway, does the difference become noticable later in the game?
I havent been using a HUcast for too long but I think that if the HUcast uses S.Parts, then the gap in ATA isnt really that wide. Im sure that the difference will show later on in Ultimate when a HUcaseal is smacking a Deldepth on the first hit of a combo while it takes a HUcast maybe the 2nd or 3rd to get a hit.

I have played both the Hucast (lvl 154) and the Hucaseal (lvl 154) extensively in both regular play and in c-mode.
There is a significant diffence between the two in c-mode. You miss your first attack quite often early in c-mode with a hucast and not nearly as much with a hucaseal.
In regular play at high enough levels with pow/dex mags, s-parts, high ATA weps and such, there isn't nearly as noticeable a difference for me.
in ult i'd say, huct's great atp is worth way more than hucl's ata. especially if he compensates that with the legendary s-parts v2.01 and hit weapons.
in cmode. like said, in the first few stages of both episodes, playing huct can be costing a nerve or two. but later on, his atp advantage is again more important than ata (depends on stage. in 2c4 both are equally important and 2c3 is a gunner / caster stage anyway).
personally, i had more fun playing a huct since he not only deals great damage but also has the best trap growth out of all the androids (thats also quite interesting for cmode).

Are S-Parts HUcast only items?
I remember D parts boosted the ATP of the character i had, but im not sure wat S Parts do?
