PC: Phantasy Star Universe

If this topic is already done guys you can kill me but anyway I have something to debate about. Phantasy Star Universe was originally for the GC and Xbox but I was wondering why they have switched the systems for.I don't know why sega decided to put the very last game of Phantasy Star Online on a PS2 I have nothing against the PS2 but the only thing is I don't own one and my PC is like millions of years old so it wouldn't play Phantasy Star Universe on my PC.
