What do ar codes do to your game/file? I've always wanted to know what the cheaters are up to and the consequences of thier actions.

It depends on the code, but generally speaking it doesn't do anything harmful to your game data. For most AR users there are no consequences in terms of anything bad happening to their char.

Really? I was told your char can get corrupted and get deleted for no reason...... or so I was told.What would be the worst thing about using ar codes then.

Mostly rumours spread by people who don't like/don't have AR. I've played for well over 2 years now and I've had tons of legit and non legit chars during that time and I've never been corrupted. Like I said, it depends on the code, but stuff like infinite HP and TP, God of Equip, Max Stats, Free Dressing Room, All Areas Open, Level 200 etc. have no negative effects at all on your game data.

The worst thing about AR (depending on the codes you use) would probably just be that it can make the game too easy. You can also use it to gain access to all the items in the game thus making rare hunting pointless. The other downside is that because of those things, it can be frustrating (to say the least) to try and find legit games where people work together instead of having some idiot spam level 30 techs constantly or using a "hacked" J Sword to kill everything in one hit before you get a change to land a blow. And of course the biggest drawback is the fact that too many losers like to FSOD cuz they have nothing better to do.
