Yeah. They are an older band but there music still is good. Saw them in concert and wondered if anyone else likes them too.

    Or is it just me...?

I didnt mind alot of their older stuff, but they seem to have vanished of late, there last album not getting much press.

Im a bit miffed that their 'Best of...' included Original Prankster. Yuck.

    Whoa.
MY last Offspring album I have is "Original Prankster". Didn't even realize they released CDs after that one.... I mostly download songs though.

I agree with Death that their older music is much better.

    Amen to that.

I used to be a big fan of there's many a few year ago but nowadays, they're just lacking something.
I can't help but feel that all their stuff sounds the same. They've grown boring and repetitive.
Anyone else getting the same vibe?

It could just be because my taste in music has changed dramatically over the years, mind.

I pretty much only listen to their stuff pre-Americana, with Ixnay being my favorite.

I only started listening to them last year (my roomate played their music a lot), and though they some really great songs, they are a bit repetitive, and was I more into thrasy music (and still am).

I would have loved Offspring a few years ago, but I'm not a huge fan of that sort of music now.

    offspring rock!

the newest album, splinter is pretty good, but it isn't xnay on the hombre. their older stuff is better. apart from ignition. can't stand it.

and im still trying to figure out why of why they decided to put original prankster on the greatest hits. it should be blotted out from history.

i saw them live last year, and where friggin great.

that said i am a real offspring fanboy. First band that really got me into music. My they rock eternally.

    PEACE!!!

I saw them at Warped Tour. Older stuff is better, they played mostly older songs. Which was good.

But then again, old stuff is always better then new. Well, usually.
