Is it determined yet whether or not PS2 and PC players will be able to play online together?

Life is just a lie with an "f" in it.
Haha thanks Rion...I didn't think it has, but I know that the majority of my friends are going to be playing it on PS2, I just can't afford to pay for the extra stuff...
What are you getting it for?On 2005-11-21 18:44, vox3om wrote:

PC most likely...
Oh, that sucks...
I think most people will get it for PS2 so if the servers aren't connected that's going to suck.

I think there will be a very large number of people getting it for the PC, considering that ALL of the current Blue Burst players are playing on PC and NONE of the current PSO players on consoles are on PS2s
They mentioned a while back in an interview that they wanted to let PC and PS2 players play together. They didn't sound very confident that it would be a feature that made it into the game though. Let's hope they manage to pull it off. It's obviously possible, since FFXI did it.
Im unsure but if i had to place my bet i would say yes, Pc & PS 2 players will coexsist on the same servers simply. because FFXI has already proving that this can be done.
but if they are not linked, the pc ver could be patched.
Quit PSO2
If they patched and kept the PC version otherwise updated, I'd probably prefer seperate servers actually. I'd be isolating one of my friends who might play, because he dosen't have an u[graded PC to play on. But there's a good chance he wont be playing anyway since he's stuck on 56K and wont play unless he can pay for a broadband connection.
