Well they have them in PSO-X as well (I think I have a character that has a lot of hacks on them). If the DC and PSOX ones were the same, then all it does is just cast a regular photon blast. I don't remember which one though.
Are you sure Jas? I remember the hackers on ver. 1 & ver. 2 saying that the megid mag would freeze a character or something like that. I never used it cause I was afraid of harming myself.
If I remember correctly, it was a hacked Photon Blast that could be used to PK people.
On the Xbox, a Grants/Megid PB could not be activated.

Hmmm, so I am guessing that once activated, it would drop everybody in the room so the user could take all the weapons and Meseta?
On the original DC version it just froze everyone like when you freeze during photon blast animation. Only way to get out of it was to disconnect or have some use a photon blast. It was fixed for every other version, so that it did nothing.
actually on GC, it launches a normal PB. If I have time later this weekend I will create one with both the grants and megid pbs to see exactly which pbs they launch. i used to have a few mags with them already but they have long since been deleted lol.
If I remember right they both cast Pilla since I had one.
