The main guy from that group spent about 5 years training in the animal styles of Kung Fu martial arts. A lot of Parkour or "Free-Running" seems inspired by the monkey style. As a matter of fact, a warmup exersize that a lot of Free-Runners use resembles walking around like a monkey, so that their bodies become ready to use the muscles required to be able to do crazy things... like swing around and jump rooftop to rooftop.

We'll never naturally be able to do some of the things the animals do, but with tons of training and practice, it's amazing how close some people can come. Human beings are like the jack-of-all-trades and masters of none when it comes to natural physical ability (technology aside).
