In the first challenge where you have to run from fire, in the final room there are some pressure switches to the right of the screen. I've noticed that the first switch makes an opening in the laser fence that allows other team members access to the other switches. what do the switches do? i havent been able to step on them all without getting ran over by the fire.

As far as I know, they're supposed to distract you and make you lose.
