Ok, the cheapest Blu-Ray player will be the PS3 which is even with the HD-DVD player price. The discs will cost the same, at least that is the picture at the moment. Blu-Ray has wider support. I wonder, which will/would you choose?

Look, he did it again.
Neither.
same im not the least interested in these new types of DVD's. Unless normal DVD's disapear off the planet like VHS i aint gonna be buying em.
Blu-Ray simply because the porn industry prefers it over HD-DVD giving it huge numerical support.
neither, untill the players cost £20 like a dvd player does...
The porn industry supports Blu-Ray??? ~votes~
Unfortunately I do think Blu-Ray might win this little war... Simply because it has the selling force of the PS3 behind it... However I really don't know a ton about High definition-and on that note I would prefer that a new media format would stay the hell away for a good while...
I don't care about either one of them, and I actually own an HDTV.
Blu-Ray, samsung multilayer disks. Simply put, 200 gigabytes is a lot of storage space. I could put entire DVD collections on one and put the real boxes away.
Yes, but they are very expensive, and the porn industry is backing dvd since it's cheaper to produce, copy, and sell, and the PS3, has limited numbers even projected in the next few years, since it's high building price, and high selling point. So, I think HD-DVD might take this one, just like gameboy, gba, ds, stomped their handheld competition from price/availability, and fun games, so if they get good movies they will beat Blu-ray.
