Once you level your Partner Machinery (mag basically) enough it will be able to join you and fight alongside you so all is not lost.

Iv only seen one video of the PM lvling, and when it transformed it looked very suited for a Cast. Im with you though ulyoth. I want variety.

I'm sure there will be a wide variety, as well as rarer and different coloured PMs, as with the Mags.

PMs are waaaaaay better.

and MAGs were not specifically combat type. all they had were those photon blasts you use once in a while.

PMs can turn into warriors that can help beat up monsters with you. so instead of a simple 'summon attack' they are like a optional NPC partner that can provide an extra hand if you dont have a full party.
