Hey if anyone saw, there's a Sonic doll thingy you can get for your room in PSU. Only thing is, I'm getting the 360 version and have no idea how I'd pre-order it to get the doll. I'm really confused.

This isnt for US PSU if it was it wouldnt be at the JP site so sorry to those. Allthough in 3 months we can see if they do it for us.

I get the feeling there's a really good chance than all regions will have a method of obtaining the Sonic figurine. Like Enix mentioned, probably through some type of online event or quest.
I want a sonic plushie too!! I hope they incorporate it in an event. I don't see why they wouldn't Americans know sonic. xD

I collect Sonic merchandise photos/real items all the time irl, and I have my PSO characters in the comic collect Sonic as well-- so having that statue or whatever in PSU would be totally awesome.
If the USA/EU does get the statue, it will be possibly the first proof that ST really is turning over this "new leaf" they keep saying they're gonna do with PSU. Obviously they're not turning it over by using a world wide release date, and they're also not flipping any greenery about by linking all the servers.
If this was the PSO days, you could COUNT on never even seeing the Sonic again outside some JP's crib because the whole "ignore and shaft everyone not living at Japan, just grab their cash and run" was the policy of the day. (magazine quests/side quests? JP exclusives on CARD? JP only tourneys? whee) So if there's an opportunity to register/win/quest/whatever this Sonic thing, it'll also add weight to their "servers arent' linked because of the plot/contests/etc", as well as set everyone off on the right foot and give a good impression.

Agreed. Sega/Sonic Team of Japan should give us our chance to have a Sonic figure in our rooms.
Oh, that would be cool, if you could equip it, and it would give you like.
