Most likely, it's in anticipation of the US release of PSU, and there'll probably be a New New PSU Screenshot & Movie Thread. Or possibly the mods just wanted to lessen the clutter up in the stickied section. This thread is still in the list of threads that you're allowed to post into no matter how old they get. (That list is in the bottom-most of the stickied threads up top.)
