The Verusta is a good starter gun. If that's all you have then yes put Grinders on it. but if you what to what for sume thing better then a Verueta like a Heaven Punisher or Suppressed gun then I would not put Grinders on it. but grinders come a dime a duzen when you get higher lv's to.

Varista is an awesome gun to get so early in the game. For the longest time I never bothered to use it, but it's special is pretty useful, especially for non-Rangers who won't have access to a lot of really powerful stuff.

Oh, and *crip*, Heaven Punisher can't be equipped by HUmars.

Oops I thought thay can.

Varista guns are ok but the Suppressed Gun is much better and stronger gun when it has a charge for the special. It helped my Hucast out allot.

Yeah, but if you consider how early into the game you find Varistas compared to Suppressed Gun, it's certainly worth using. And I don't put a lot of stock into a Charge special on characters that already push the ATA issue button... i.e., HUcasts. I love them, but they can't hit the broadside of a barn, LOL.

I got my Suppressed Gun on Hard in the Spacesip. Then I put the Charge on it in the Gallen shop.
