It is the Dr. Watson application running that is used by Windows brilliant (sarcasm) error reporting system. Simply disabling the error reporting system usually takes care of the issue (and it's just a good idea to do anyway.) On machines I work on and tweak for people, Error Reporting is one of the first things i disable. There are two places you need to go to completely turn it off.

    FIRST STEP:
    1. Rightclick on MY COMPUTER
    2. Select PROPERTIES
    3. Click the ADVANCED tab and select ERROR REPORTING
    4. In the new window click DISABLE ERROR REPORTING (you can leave BUT NOTIFY ME WHEN CRITICAL ERRORS OCCUR
    5. Click OK to close the smaller window
    6. Click OK to close the SYSTEM PROPERTIES window

    SECOND STEP:
    1. Go to START>RUN and type in: services.msc
    2. In the SERVICES window scroll down until you see ERROR REPORTING SERVICE
    3. Double click on ERROR REPORTING SERVICE
    4. In the new window that opens, go to the STARTUP TYPE field and select DISABLED from the drop down menu
    5. Click OK and then close the SERVICES window.

Now try running the game. If you still have issues, you need to make sure your Windows installation is completely up-to-date by downloading all Windows Updates. You will also want to run a complete virus scan and spyware/malware scan. make sure your definition files are current on both apps.
