Well, i thought B&W was good untill you got to the villager management, which was a pile of shit. You didnt have enough houses, they say they need more homes. Build more homes, they say they need more children. Get them more children, they say they need more homes. Kill everyone then uninstall game.
It wasnt a bad game, just the village management really ruined half of the fun.
It was an interesting concept but badly done. The much-lauded AI sucked nads. Mainly that the villagers were dumb as bricks, as well as the creature that would never ever learn. I gave my copy to a friend that was itching to play it.
For about 5-6 hours it's all in good fun. But after that you realize how bad it really is.
I have Black and White, and it's fun for a little while, but it does indeed get old pretty fast.
ProTip: To damage your credibility, simply call any of the Phantasy Star games "massively-multiplayer."
i had fun smacking my monster across the face...
the villager management thing can be overcome by simply ignoring the lil b*****ds and becoming evil! im now (patiently) waiting for B&W:NG which will simplify the micro management side of the game and instead focus mainly on the creature aspect, which rules basically.
Creature isles is good if you dont like the villagers as it too concentrates on the creatures
