photon blast kills add to SJS kill counter?

like the title says: if i use pilla with my SJS equipped, and all enemies around me die, do the kills count towards the kill counter? same goes for killing enemies with damage traps or techs with SJS equipped. (i'm guessing they count, but i'm just making sure?)

From my understanding they dont count - you must hit the enemy with the SJS giving the final blow to each enemy for it to count, if you dont finish the enemy off with the SJS then it doesnt count.
