How to Switch Class

I don't quite understand it.. It says I'm a force, then I go into my player information and go to types list.. I am level 1 in all three classes and a little exp in force. But I want to be a hunter? How do I do that? 'cause I'll go to hunter and hit enter.. then go to my status and I'm still a force.

You talk to a npc to switch class, it costs meseta. Think it was 5th floor (guardian HQ) npc.

Yeah, fifth floor on the Colony, the NPC around back.

I'm also assuming you can do it from the other Guardian's branches on the planets too.
