idk much about PC but try restarting pc and un/reinstalling PSU? you probably try this already but it wouldnt hurt for a reminder. if that dosent work mabe its your graphic card?? Or you forgot to register at sega to make it work just my 2cents MO Goodluck

Actually I have had this happen on and off. Sometimes I can get right in and other times after gameguard it just sits there at a black screen until I reboot the system.

Check your firewall, make sure it doesnt block gameguard and try restart the game in window mode.

Shut down your anti-virus/spyware programs. PSU doesn't work well with things such as Norton active.
