Ranger N00B Question

I played Ranger in PSO back in the days of DC and I get that they do Crowd Control a lot more now, but has their dmg fallen off that greatly?

In PSO I never had too much trouble killing things...maybe not as fast as my Hunter could, but nothing where I thought it was A LOT slower or anything.

in the beta at level 14 I was killing pretty fast for a ranger, you are somethng like 40% weaker when a ranger but you benefit from first hit due to range and the ability to use different photon bullets to cause status effect alot quicker.

Okay, great to know, b/c I really want to make a Cast Ranger and eventually Fortegunner...I love my guns and mechs

Also you are not limited to 3 hit combos anymore, witch is great
