grinding force weapons?

forgive me if this is a stupid question, but what good does grinding a force weapon do?

More PP and damage, same thing as grinding any other weapon. As a percentage bonus of total damage, grinding force weapons seems to be less of an improvement than grinding melee weapons and guns though.

Nope ^_^ I grinded mine +5 and I gained 50-100 more damage.
