elemental weapon effects

I have been toying around with synthesis and know that fire burns the enemies and makes them take continual damage for a bit, and ice freezes them in place. What does earth, dark, light, lightning and possibly others do? Thanks!

Fire = Burn - lose hp over time
Ice = Freeze - can't movement, evasion set to 0
Earth = Silence - can't cast spells/tech
Lightning = Shock - can't use normal attacks, monster may still have special attacks they may use
Dark = Infection - lose hp over time
Light = Confusion - monsters attacks closest target, players FPS mode and controls become screwed
