All right, this thread exists for the purpose of documenting your RP characters with the community. By checking the thread, you will be able to verify whether or not someone you encounter on Universe 17 is an RPer. Ideally, we should be able to assume that anyone on that universe is an RPer (at least the vast majority of the population), but this thread is to be the verification when there is a question.

Registering your RP character in this thread is not a requirement for participation. Character registration is to follow the following format:

I will begin by registering my own character.


Name: Evanoroth Von Wachter

Alignment: Lawful Good
Backround: An older fellow, raised in a military family, he respects noble behavior and has built his life around protecting those who seem to need it. He is commonly under the employ of the Bragwin family, a property-owning family of some significance on Neudaiz, as a bodyguard.

Name: Bushi
Rase: CAST
Class: Hunter (FiGunner soon enough)
Alignment: Lawful Evil
Background: Constructed in late days of the Race Wars as part of the B-U51 Light Tactical series and programmed Independent Covert Operative for the Neu-daiz theater of operations. Bushi saw minimal action before The Peace but was responsable for several note worthy assassinations and sabotages on neu-daiz during that period. After the war Bushi took on the roll of hired gun and swore total loyalty to whomever was paying him the most at the time, but refusing to change employers until the current contract was fulfilled.

Recently Bushi has started referring to himself as "The Yellow Samurai" after his favorite colour and fighting style. CAST AI experts within GUARDIANS attribute this behavior to a suspected flaw in the B series cognitive matrix that may cause mild delusions within CASTs of that series. Other "Samurai" have been reported, although not all have been CASTs.

Bushi has been observed frequently around Relics sites and areas of SEED fall. Reasons for being in these areas have not been ascertained at present.

Backround: Born as a human force on Ragol, he established a great Guild called the Black Hand. After the attack on the Black Hand, the guild retreated to Gurhal to re-establish the reputation of the guild. During the attack, Shadow was killed, but his conciousness was able to live on inside of his best friend and second-in-command of the Black Hand, Jay. He became an android for a short while, but was again killed and forced to hide his conciousness inside Jay once again. He finally settled within the body of a male newman. As he lives on Gurhal, he is currently searching for secret techniques, being trained under the FOnewm Rayuki. He's also got this strange mark on his hand, a mark that only shows itself around members of the Communion Of Gurhal. (Don't worry, I won't godmod here, I don't get some super-sexy-awesome-chicken-ninja spell or anything >>)

Background: Once the great king of a mighty nation. Then the seed came. His entire Kingdom was reduced to rubble. King Caineghis and his mighty bodyguard Giffca fled for their lives. Giffca though, was mortally wounded when Magashi himslef tried to assassinate the king. Caineghis was mortified. His best friend and bodyguard was dying. Caineghis swore to himself that day, to avenge his slain kingdom of the Mighty Laguz, and destroy all the seed. He needed to know where to look. Even though he was virtuous, he needed to fit in. He moved to Moatoob and became a "Robin Hood" rouge. He stole from the rich and gave to the poor. After a days work of theivery, he came across a partner machinery. It was in critical condition. Caineghis then remembered one other he couldnt save, and did his best to restore the Machine to its original state. He named the PM "Giffca".

Backround: To read about all of Meena's life would actually be somewhat boring, as nothing particularly amazing happened for the majority of it. At some point not too long ago, however, a drastic change happened to her. This change is still rather ambiguous even to Meena, but one thing is for certain: because of it, she is now completely batshit. Also because of it, she claims, she has become a Force of considerable power. To put what happened in her own words:

"Once, there was a little helpless ducky. Cute lil' ducky. Anyways, she kept to herself, went about her business on her own with great gusto, and tried very hard. How quaint. Funny little ducky, really, she used to have these dreams about great birds taking flight, soaring high and completing business much greater than what she knew. However, the ducky, not wanting to bother anyone, continued about with her own life in her own little way. Awww.

YET! Yetyetyet... The dreams continued, yes! Continued on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and ON, AND ON UNTIL she couldn't take it. So the ducky prayed. Not sure why, she didn't believe in God or anything... Anyway, so, yeah, she prayed. And suddenly, the Sun answered! No, don't you give me any lip, the Sun answered, alright? Just 'cuz the Sun has never talked to you doesn't mean it can't! Anywhoooo~...

The Sun asked, 'Little duckling, why are you so sad?' The ducky replied that she felt that her life was so pointless and could mean... So much MORE. 'Very well,' said the Sun, 'your asking alone proves that you are made of the stuff of purpose, and so I shall make you a legend.' The ducky was, of course, overjoyed by this, but it appeared that she would have to pay a price! Of course she did, you always had to pay a price in these kinds of deals... Well, even though the ducky did her very best work every day, she had nothing. So, the Sun decided to take one thing she did have, and it was fine with the ducky because she felt it was useless anyway. Do you know what the ducky traded? No, of course you don't, that why *I'M* the one telling the story. She traded something... Something so SIMPLE: her sanity. After all, how useful is that?

And so the Sun took his prize and he kept his deal. Before the ducky knew it, she was growing, expanding, and practically exploding with power! The birds from her dreams, she was one... No, she was BETTER THAN THE DREAMS NOW! She felt filled with purpose and as her mind slipped away she felt no regret. No regret, of course, for the purpose and power she had gained, and suddenly, the ducky was no longer a ducky.

That little ducky's name? It was Meena."

((I hope that wasn't too long or boring. I also hope the amibuity of Meena's past doesn't really bug anyone. For one I'm still working on it, but mostly I thought it added some interest. I like what I'm seeing in everyone else's posts, though! Hope to see you in Universe 17 some time!))

Background: Tales have been told of a merciless machine that haunted the deserts and canyons of Moatoob during the war, spilling blood of anyone who had been in his way. Tales say that he took out a small platoon of AMF soldiers in a blink of an eye. Some others say that his armor had turned red from all the people he had slain. Other rumors said he was a mysterious project from deep within the shadows of the Illuminus. Whatever the truth is, is seems there's only one who knows the truth.

From the end of a war, came a time of peace. A killing machine had less of a place now than ever, and most soliders who had survived, had either become protectors of the system known as Guardians, or had gone into a supposed unground way of life, known as the Rogues. He decided to live his own life, not to go by anyone's commands, but his own.

Although known be be of a somewhat solitary CAST, he has been known to join up with both Guardians and Rogues alike. It's not fully sure what his intentions are, or even where his allegiance lies. All is known is that he is a mercenary with an unknown agenda.

After the first SeeD attack his mentor died protecting him. After the SeeDs invasion, the Guardians promoted him to a full-fledge Guardian. Now he works to help people.

Background:

A creation of mysterious origin, Sylph Knight (or “Arys”, as Kazrion, the engineer who aided her, has christened) was discovered a few years before the Centennial Ceremony, when an abandoned orbital research facility of unknown origin was racing towards a head-on collision with the Guardian Colony. The the facility was destroyed by an unidentified force after the then-unknown creatures called the SEED promptly infected it, but Kazrion and Sylph were somehow able to escape thanks to using the last of their strength to find a functional escape pod. Kazrion awakened on Moatoob and was forced to make extensive repairs on Sylph Knight's brutally damaged battle chassis. As a result, her body is using second-grade parts to house what is otherwise an incredibly advanced Refined-Photon Infusion Engine, giving her a processing capacity far beyond that of regular Casts. She has no recollection of before her awakening on the colony, but Kazrion isn’t convinced… somewhere deep inside Arys lies an ancient secret stripped from the databanks of the Relics themselves.

Years passed, and Arys now follows Kazrion as his partner and bodyguard, but also as a friend as she has no other place to go in this bizarre world she has come into. Her goal in life seems to be clinging onto Kazrion wherever he may go, no matter what danger awaits. She has an overprotective little-sister type personality towards him. She boasts strong child-like feelings of trust and kinship that reach the point of naivety, and yet possesses strangely powerful and responcible leader-like instincts that emerge during a crisis. This personality was probably carried over from an implanted persona during her creation. Her battle style is sometimes compared to that of a dancer, as it incorporates speed and grace over raw power as she twirls about with various small weapons and slices through hordes like a hot knife through butter. Given that her body cannot match the specs she is fully capable of utilizing, this style was probably incorporated due to this inherit handicap and will expand in time as Kazrion implants more powerful components onto her matrix. That aside, her past is shrouded in a web of conspiracy of which she is the center, and there are forces that will stop at anything to claim her for themselves, or see her destroyed.

Arys and Kazrion now co-lead the enigmatic Special Investigation Unit V that was established after the first despairing appearance of SEED almost year ago. She has been forced to adapt quickly to her new role and provide all the strength and support she can muster, which she does happily. For her, this is a battle of destinies, and the survival of her beloved friends depends on her own strength. But as the Unit learns more about SEED and the RELICS, she begins to wish more and more that it would all disappear. The truth horrifies her, even though she does not realize what it is yet. It is faith alone between her and those she cares for that keeps her courage strong through the investigation. She may not fit in well with the social crowd, but Arys will stand her ground against any foe to protect a friend; and that act speaks louder than words.
