[B] Hel-senba synthesis ingredients?

I just got a [B] Hel-senba and am not sure which Photon to use for the first ingredients. Can anyone help? I have looked around the net but have yet to find a good source for item synthesis.

Any photon you need. The photon changes the element, or use normal photons to keep it normal element.

A ??? slot has multiple choices. For wood, it lets you use Kubara to make a different weapon. For photons, you pick the element. Don't use El or Im photons though, you get no benifit from them.

With El and Im having no elemental "flavor" does that mean armor synthed with them have no elemental weaknesses as well? If you synth using a Megi-photon (dark), does this mean that light-based attacks do more damage? Or does the elemental % added to armor synthed with elemental photons help resist effects that have an elemental component?

The element of your armor will determine how much damage is reduced and received.

For example, a shield with a fire % will give you some resistance to fire based (melee, range, magical) attacks but will increase your vulnerability to ice based attacks.
