PC hardware issues. dunno what is good.

Im having some real issues setting up my girlfriends PC for this game. If anyone can help me understand what areas we need improvment in on our hardware it would be greatly appreciated as the game is running really slowly... ; ; maybe its the game settings? I have no clue what to do as I am a mac user D:! Please help!

we have:

nvidia geforce fx 5200 video card with 64mb
1 gig of ram
processor is AMD sempron 3000+ socket at 1.8 gHz

any suggestions of what we can buy to improve (full product names would be great )

Umm i suggest upgrading the graphics card. I perfer Nvidia but an ATI Radeon would woork great. Umm the ram is ok but if you plan to play anyohter games add about 512mb more of ram. Also get with dual core proccesor but make sure your Motherboard can handle it.
