Room Decor = RARES

I'm not sure if I believe much in this, but I will say that, while I placed them in no particular pattern, I had 3 trees in my room, and while soloing Agata Relics, I came across 2 separate pairs of Rappies, and one of the final bosses (the humanoid one) was of a different color and with a strange name that I can't recall (it was late). I forgot to screenshot, which I regret, but this boss dropped a Goldanium(sp).

My friend has been testing monsters patterns in relation to the block patterns of levels, and though I haven't heard his results, I'll wait for his conclusions before seeing if he'd like to experiment with room decoration as another factor. I would not put it past Sega team to put something subtle in there like this, however, as I've noticed another odd thing involving Nanoblasts, which I'm trying to research on the forums before I make a post about it..

In any case, I have 7 Christmas Trees now, in my room. I'll see if this makes a difference.

My current findings have found that

-The most meseta drops when the Christmas Tree is in slot Y
-The rare drop rate was not affected by placing the Christmas Tree in slot R (Not on C rank anyway)
-The largest number, and most diverse group of photons and lines dropped when the Christmas Tree was in slot 2
-The largest number of boards dropped when the Christmas Tree was in slot 3
-The most pannon jelly dropped when the Christmas Tree was in slot 5
-The potency rate of healing items increased when the Christmas Tree was in slot 6

I will have to do more research before I make anymore blind assumptions. Tomorrow I plan to preform the same experiment on Unsafe Passage B.

Problem with (pseudo) random events is that there can be patterns, but they mean nothing only after tens of thousands of tries you'd see the (statisitc) tendency. Even then, no conclusions will help you get the item you want

you'll need to do a couple more runs to verify that the differences arent due pure luck.
overall, i dont believe in that theory. its like trying to find a spring using sticks. if youre curious, go ahead. i for my part dont have the time to invest into this theory.

Yes, performing only one test run with each different configuration is pointless. You're sample test runs would have to be greater (at LEAST 20 runs with each configuration) to start seeing patterns and thus be able to prove your theory. Unfortunately, you have proven nothing. It's like asking one person their opinion on a certain deodorant, then using that opinion as fact, i.e. This guy like the deodorant therefore EVERYONE must like this deodorant.

Its based on the star rating of the room decorations.

Blue = 1-3*

Green = 4-6*

Yellow = 7-9*

Red = 10-12*

The red one makes the item slightly bigger, the others probably were designed to be that colour to show position if ST wanted to make multi-square models or corner decor that would only work in certain places.
