Yeah, I got my female newman's basic classes to 5, adn force to 10 in preparation. But getting my human to Ranger 5 is gonna be a hassle. But I'm glad that I didn't level his Force to 5 for no reason, I tried to make him a Wartecher but, meh, seeing my human as a Techer just didn't do it for me, except for the longbow which suited his samurai image. My human char just didn't look right casting magic. Now those ranger levels, mind as well do some Parum Purifications or Crimson Beast.

I think I’ll go ahead and add some notes on PP consumption since that seems to be a real issue with Madoogs.

First we’ll do a damage/PP consumption analysis at both a realistic number of targets and the max number of targets. I’ll assume the enemy is neutral element and the spells are at level 30.

    Foie: 22.5% damage/PP
    Diga: 23.33% damage/PP
    Barta: 16.25% (2 targets) to 48.75% (6 targets) damage/PP
    Zonde: 16.88% (2 targets) to 50.63% (6 targets) damage/PP

    Rafoie: 7.08% (1 target) to 21.25% (3 targets) damage/PP
    Razonde: 6.88% (1 target) to 20.63% (3 targets) damage/PP
    Radiga: 7.5% (1 target) to 22.5% (3 targets) damage/PP
    Rabarta/Ramegid: 6.67% (1 target) to 20% (3 targets) damage/PP

    Damfoie/Damdiga: 21.67% (2 targets) to 65% (6 targets) damage/PP
    Dambarta: 24.38% (3 targets) to 48.75% (6 targets) damage/PP
    Dammegid: 23.33% (2 targets) to 70% (6 targets) damage/PP

    Gibarta: 10.13% (3 targets) to 20.25% (6 targets) damage/PP
    Gidiga: 10.88% (3 targets) to 21.75% (6 targets) damage/PP
    Gifoie/Gizonde: 10.5% (3 targets) to 21% (6 targets) damage/PP

    Megiverse: 10.83% (3 targets) to 21.67% (6 targets) damage/PP

    For a quick laugh:
    Megid: 5.16% (2 targets) to 15.47% (6 targets) damage/PP
    Noszonde: 2.5% (1 target) to 5% (2 targets) damage/PP
    Nosdiga: 7.85% damage/PP
    Nosmegid: 2.08% (1 target) to 4.17% (2 targets) damage/PP
    Nosmegid (near-death): 3.33% (1 target) to 6.67% (2 targets) damage/PP

So you can see that the basic spells (aside from Megid) and the Dam- spells are the most damage/PP while the Ra- and Gi- series only saves you PP under ideal conditions. On the other hand, if you do a PP drain/time analysis, the Dam- series and Megiverse become the worst techniques to use, but they’re also dealing the highest damage/time, so it becomes a pretty tough choice.

As for buffs on a Madoog, earlier I estimated that 9 star Madoogs would have around 400 PP. Assuming your buffs are at 41+, they should drain around 64 PP per cast, only giving you enough PP for 3 complete rounds of buffs. This will last 18 minutes, but that’s still pretty bad. I’d suggest sticking them on 2 wands with that taken into consideration.

Debuffs won’t be a problem. They would be draining around 64 PP per cast as well, but you only cast them every so often and I doubt you’ll run out any faster than the melee weapon in your right hand.

I will be all over this class once I max out my WT again with the new class levels. Seeing as though I play heavy support already ( zalure has been capped at 20 for a while now), I already see massive potential in level 50 buff/debuffing. S rank cards with level 30 bullets and debuffing? fricking sweet. My palette as a WT is half loaded with Ageha-Kikamis and buff/debuff/heal wands already. Save the twin dagger action for boss fights and it's all good. WTs are already used to level 20 skills, so they'll adapt the easiest most likely.

stop complaining about where this class falls short... LEVEL 50 SUPPORT TECHS

Hopefully, we'll see Kubara ripoff mags that have increased PP and/or regen, akin to the Rodoc and Granarodoc.

    Inazuma, I'm guessing it's 5/5/5 like PT or ranger 3/force 5.

Has to be force 5, so level the others to 5 and there should be no problem.

Now that I think about it, considering that Acrotechers are supposed to be the ultimate support class, I think we will see Kubara ripoff madoogs with crap TP and better PP, akin to the ripoff rods.

who's to say it might not be something like WT-3/FT-5 or something screwy like that.

on that note.. Firebreak on Neudaiz -> base class max in less than an hour with a decent party. I went from force 5 to FT 8 (almost 9) since FB started.

Will there ever a be a class that is purely supportive..? I thought AT was my ticket to this route.
