My sig disappeared.
Wait, you do need it.
My friend had PSOX and it wouldn't let him play at all because he didn't have live. Very stupid, imo.
what if you have an account, but you get rid of it?
You can play PSOX offline without a subscription, so long as there is an Xbox LIVE username registered to the console.

Yeah, just make sure you have an account on your console - it doesn't have to be active. No account = no xbox offline.
it's a yes and no typ answer with whether or not pso works without xbox live...while it does... there is something that will take that ability away, but i forget what...so you just need to make sure you don't mess up your xbox if you want to keep your PSO stuff ^.^
