Transfering mags

I'm raising a Rati with a level 1 RAmar, Oran section ID. It's at level 60 so it will complete its evolution at level 100. To do that, a hunter with a Skyly or a Pinkal ID (there's another that I forgot) must give it its last feeding, so I was planning on switching at level 99. Now, however, I need to feed it Dimates to raise its power, and I can't buy those.

Would it be okay to hand it over to my main HUcast, with a Redria ID? Will feeding it with that ID that isn't part of the required colors (Oran ranger is) screw up the process and evolve it to something different prematurely, or am I good as long as I switch at level 99?

Solution: Pass over some dimates WITH the mag.

The point of transferring the mag over is to get it on a character with Dimates, so I don't see what you're suggesting there.

Start game w/ two characters.
Character A has mag to be changed to Rati + 10 dimates
Character B has possibly nothing
Character A drops mag + 10 dimates on floor
Character B picks up mag + 10 dimates
[Wait 3 or so minutes]
Character B feeds Mag dimates
Mag turns into Rati
Character B gives Rati to Character A
Reidar is happy, and gives Gaijin Punch one million dollars.

I should have specified that I'm on Blue Burst and don't have split-screen, but even then, at only level 60, it's going to take a lot more than 10 dimates to evolve it, in which case it'd be much more efficient to simply have the mag on a character who can buy the food directly instead of constantly transferring. Thanks for the response, though. If I were ruler of the world, I would not cut off your head.

no it doesnt change anything as long as the required section id is the one used when it evolves to lv 100

Actually, it just evolved into an Ila, but it seems that it'll still become a Rati if I switch it over to the correct ID before 100. Thanks for the responses.

It can be whatever at 99, and up to.
As long as that last piece of food that turns it 100 is on the right ID, it will become a Rati.

RU on the official BB, or the free one. If you're on the free one, w/ a second PC, you can make two accounts (I just did this yesterday). If not, or if you're on the official, you will at some point have to do a transfer, requiring a second person to help you. There is no way around this.

There is no issue then yet. Generally you would build it up on your main character to level 99. Pass it with one item to go. Viola.
