Does anyone know what other cities this movie is coming out in besides NY and LA, and also would it ever come out in Philadelphia?

I've read in Animeica that Cowboy Bebop the Movie:Knockin' on Heaven's Door(as it's called in Japan)will be realesed in U.S. thearters in major U.S. cities on April 4, 2003. If your wondering, it takes place between episodes 22 and 23 of the tv series.
I have not heard where it is playing. But I have seen it, and it is GOOD. REALLY GOOD. If you are lucky enough to be in one of the cities it plays on the big screen, you should go. You should do so for those of us unlucky enough to live in what Hollywood considers a "minor city".

I've seen it, it's an excellent anime. I'd recommend it to anyone.
One of my friends who hadn't seen any of the series could still get a lot of appreciation out of it, so it's one anyone can go see
You got it! Been meaning to see a really good movie with my best friend for a while...now, if only some site would properly list where it's playing... *goes looking*On 2003-03-04 21:06, Subliminalgroove wrote:

I'll go looking for some specific information, but it says what I read says that it'll open in LA and NY first, and then move on to other Major cities, so there is a chance it'll be in PA. If not, well...wait for the DVD? :/
And Cowboy Bebop: THE MOVIE makes it sound like it's for 5 year olds. Very bad.

$12. not bad. i paid around $18 for my copy.
i totally recommend it. i've always preferred subbed rather than dubbed, so i loved it.
the translations in the subtitles are pretty good. not great. but pretty good. i give the translation a 7 out of 10.

Maybe I'm just a wierdo, but I thought the english voices for Cowboy Bebop were some of the best I've ever heard...
I read that the movie went to New York City and Los Angeles in January and was slowly making its way across the country. I don't claim that that's correct, and I forget where I read it, so... whatever.
i'm sure that the english dubbed voices are quite good.
it's just a matter of preference for me to rather see anime subbed with the original Japanese dialogue.
to each, their own.
