You still got a point that JP gets event over event though.
But whatever, I'm satisfied with the content we have right now pretty much.

lvl 110 or 120 lvl cap to start, new areas, type lvl 20 cap, the new types, some of the new manufacturers of current b-aranks. I'm having some serious doubts on 13* equipment being available from monsters/boxes right off the bat.
AoI is actually going to remove existing features from the game, and we will all be kicked back to Lvl 10 Hunter/Ranger Force. The monthly fee will be increased to $15/month. and no updates will be made until 2nd quarter 2008 due to technical difficulties.
Bitter? Nooooooo.
HAHA! didnt the Japanese servers have some malfunction early on that wiped everyone to lvl1 or was that an interumor?
Gosh, you guys are so pessimistic. We'll just have to wait for the JP release to be certain.

Too optimistic. I'm thinking:On 2007-09-07 12:26, Golto wrote:

- Lv 110
- a few new areas & rares to hunt
- new B & A ranks
- new room & system options
I bet new classes, PA's, class caps, and more areas will come later (>1 month), just as they did last year. After all, Sonic Team has to allow enough time to dash everyone's hopes before giving us the good stuff.
We will know for sure in 3 weeks.
comon; dont think as this as a different game; think of it as one MASSIVE update that will cost us.
like maps on a different game or somethin.

It wasn't a rumor, but I don't think you have the jist of the story. On 2007-09-07 12:40, Nia wrote:

Within 4 days of PSU's JP release, more than 120,000 people between the PS2/PC players joined. Sega/Sonic Team wasn't ready for an influx that large, so they had to rollback everyone to level 1 and they gave everyone who registered for a JP Guardian's License a month of play for free in order to test out any sort of bugs while they corrected the issues that they faced, and expanded the servers to handle the massive ly sudden population.
It wasn't so much a malfunction as it was a severe overload of players.
Everything needs to be released at once, so that:
1. People don't get impatient and leave.
2. Everyone doesn't stay in one area.
3. We axtually get everything, and don't have the game die without some content.
If they released everything all at once, they'd need to be significantly more creative with making extra content, and we probably all know how that goes... <_<
Making extra content takes more time than it does to gradually release content, especially when you've got only a few people to work on things, and only at certain times of the day. Sega's a corporation, so not all of it's staff is working on new ideas or trying to complete current content at every hour of every day.
If they had that kind of 24/7 sense of duty, then some of the missions probably wouldn't be made with glaring bits of sloppiness, like calling De Ragnus' Lair "Block <#>", and some other things that I'm not quite aware of yet, but could be possible.
