Tripolic Shield Question

How come on versions Blue Burst (PC) & Version 3 (GC & XBox): Episodes 1, 2 & 4, Forces can use Tripolic Shield?

I thought that Shields were only usable by Hunters & Rangers, it's always a "X" no with a Force. Is it because of the "newly discovered", "prized item has great defensive power that hasn't been seen before" that can be used by Forces, for that reason?

That's a question of semantics... Since everything in the Database is categorized by Armor/Shield, the logic of your question indicates that NONE of the armors should be equippable by forces, and Hunters should not use Ultimate Frame. And, by God, what are these things called "Garments" and "Plates?" And RINGS????

That is like saying why the heck could a HUmar or HUnewearl could use a Holy Ray when it is clearly a Rifle and has "X"s on normal Rifles. Or why a RAmarl is able to use S-Beat Blades when with regular Daggers has "X"s on it.

You're thinking too hard about this. In general certain items are restricted for certain classes, but there are exceptions to the rule. The Tripolic Shield is an exception to the rule.

Rare items are in a separate category actually, as stated with the Holy Ray thing. Let's not forget, the master of ATA, the RAmar, CANNOT use Holy Ray due to RAmar not meeting the MST requirement.
