I know the basics of how leveling up your partner machine works, seen guides, etc.

But while browsing around the shops on the Guardian HQ I noticed some items that seem to correspond with partner machine types in the variety shop...What do these things do?

    Thanks!

I guess... you must be talking Partner Machine Uprades. It will upgrade your PM to a different model, with different weapons, armor units. etc.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's what I'm talking about. To use those your partner machine has to have leveled up to the point where he can already join you in battle, correct?

    Yes.
And for now, "she", cause they are she's. XD
Anyway when she reaches level 80, she will give you her partner card, and then you can invite her to battle. Depending on the synthesis trend, she'll turn into a different model.
    A 410
    420... lol
    430
    440
or 450 I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Then that's where the PM DEVICE comes in. You can evolve to a 411, 412, 413 etc. But ONLY use the PM DEVICE that matches her synthesis trend. Okay?

i heard you have to use the numbers in order to max it out, is this true? what i mean is if you want a 415 and you have a 410 you would have to go through 411, 412, 413, 414 and then finally 415. is this true? ive never tried it because i never wanted to spend that much money on an upgrade that may not be necessary
