If you're playing Offline Challenge Mode (Normal) with two people, can you quit and save with the Areas you've played save with it? Or must you do all 46 Stages in one setting?

You can do Multimode Challenge Mode with two-four people on GC/Xbox offline.

You can do them over time. You don't have to do it all at once.

No, not offline for ver 2. you need more than one player.

Actually it is 46 areas divided up into 9 stages for Episode I challenge mode. You have to beat a stage to save it. Online you need to go to the counter then log off then you would have your game save. It has been awhile since I have played c mode off-line but I am pretty sure you would need to have all your characters enter the teleporter and that would lead you to the save screen.
