HP charge

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this status effect. From what I understand it does more damage the lower your HP's are.

Does anyone know how much the damage increases at say half HP, or when you're in critical?

The 8* whip, when it is a dark element, has the HP Charge effect. I can hit around 750 (With Vivi Danga, 36% Dark Vish Tien, lvl 88 WT) on light monsters at full HP, and at half HP I think I was hitting for 900~950.

What I am unsure of is whether its an amount boost, like 100 extra damage at a certain level of HP loss, or a percent boost, like 10% extra damage at a certain level of HP loss.

The lower my HP got, the more damage I was doing. And if you are doing this as a WT, you can bust out a pegi and heal yourself when things get a little to dangerous.

Does anyone know of evidence of how HP Charge functions? Maybe the JP wiki has something...*groan*
