AotI: -MAG- Silver Badges ??

I don't know if this already has been asked , but why should anyone exchange his Copper-Badges for Silver Badges?
The only Badges you need for exchange is Gold.

The exchange.rate on "The Messenger" should be:

2x Copper Badge => 1x Silver Badge
5x Copper Badge => 1x Gold Badge
3x Silver Badge => 1x Gold Badge

Though IF you exchange for silver Badges you need 6x Copper Badges. But exchanging Copper Badges directly for Gold Badges you need only 5.

So why is there a Silver-Badge-Exchange-Rate?

Silver Badges are no reward when I saw it right on PSUpedia.

Do they drop from enemies ... ?

Silver Badges drop from boxes in the mission.

Well look at it like this. Let's say you need one more gold badge for the item you want. You only have 2 Silvers and 3 coppers. Well hey, if you convert those coppers to silver badges, you can trade it in and get that last gold badge!

but you dont need to exchange when there are no silver badges and that was the thing i didn't know ...

they look like Traps/room decos.

they drop from special boxes on the side, usually in a secrete area.

the boxes are in sets of 4, 4 in each PSO area.

The higher difficulty, the better badges that drop.

EXAMPLE: C runs will get u only Bronze badges, B mostly Bronze, some silver, A more silver still some bronze. S about 3/4 of the boxes have silver little bronze.

but i think kubara wood has a chance of dropping from these boxes as well.

So, by soloing a C run, you should get 16 bronze badges from boxes and 2 for finishing it, so 18 total? At that rate, 28 C runs would be needed to get 99 gold badges. Not too awful...
