Alex stood upon the shore. After facing many of the D-Cell foes that made Ragol their home, he couldn't help but think about all that had happened to him and his friends of the Hunters Guild.
Turning to his right, Alex noticed a fair sum of monsters appearing. As usual, he charged full on into the slew. From the area by the shore, to a watery hollow in the jungle.
Once the combat had subsided, he checked his inventory.
Flipping the dial on his wrist console to his Ryuker disk, Alex proceeded to create a telepipe back to Pioneer 2.
A few moments later...
Refreshed, stocked up, and ready for battle, Alex climbed the wattery path up he had seen earlier, unaware of what awaited him.
Making short work of the Gees and the Sinow Berill, Alex headed back to a teleporter that was at the top of the hill. Upon stepping through the teleporter, he noted a familiar look of the area he was in.
Moving foreward, he entered a large area gushing with water. Looking around, he felt an ominous presence hanging over the room.
His feelings were confirmed when he entered the room and looked towards the top of the hill.
And with that, Alex charged the Mericarol head on. The battle ensues.
Once the battle was over, Alex took a moment to catch his breath and recompose himself. During the course of the battle, all the monomates he had just bought were used. Linping and lumbering in his exhaustion, he made his way down the hill to an open path at its base. Looking ahead, he saw a glowing red light: a teleporter that could bear him home.
Feeling happy that he had defeated the Mericarol and had a relatively enjoyable (if not painful) time, Alex warped back to Pioneer 2, acquired what he needed, and went back to his apartment, where he hung up his garb and fell asleep on his living room couch.
