Default Requesting info on this song, please.

    Hello.

I would like to ask if anyone here might have any information on this following song.

I found it on IOSYS's official website but I can't see anything that indicates that they're the creators of this wonderful, magical piece.

If anyone is able to read and translate japanese, I could send you the mp3 of this song which should include some information about it's creator and origin.

I do have this little tidbit: "ほし - hoshi", but it's not saying me anything.

So, if anyone does have any information regarding this song, please let me know.

Edit: And no, I cannot just simply ask the creator of the youtube video from where he got the song, since I'm him. -.-

It's either from a fighting game, a Shoot'em up game, or a puzzle game...

I can't remember, but I have heard it somewhere before...

    Sorry, that's all I know.

    mmmmmmmm...

Maybe it's from a Kirby game...

It's on the tip of my tongue...

    I'll repost if I remember.

Thanks for your reply Zantra, you've given me just that little bit of hope.

But wow, this theme might be from a video game? Best VG-music ever.

I actually think it might be a few songs strung together.

When I input the name into wikipedia, I get a bunch of Kirby wikis.

    Very interesting.

If "Hoshi" is indeed created through a string of Kirby-themes, that series of games will rise considerably in my eyes.

Please let me know if you find out anything else about it, I'd very much like to know just where from my top-3 songs originate.

well... the japanes characters (kanji?) are for Star, and Hoshi means Star.

So... it's called Star-Star or Double Star.

Or maybe the Band is called Star, and the song is also called star.

That's all I could find out.

Have you tried emailing that website, and finding out?

Or, at least asking them where they obtained the song?

Well, ideally that's what I would do but it happens to be that they're very...Japanese and as such it feels a little bit daunting. If it'll go so far that I'll just have to contact them about it I will, but first I'm going to be asking around some forums.

    Thanks for your help.

Naw, go ahead and contact them. Many Japanese can speak English, and if they have someone interested in music, they'd probably love to help you out.
