First grind gives it +12atp, at +5 it'll beat a 12* shotty which is maxed at +10. So yeah, I say it grinds good. XD

Is the grind bonus actually in effect now since we have the bonuses? Or do we get it afterwards?

we recieve the grind boost after the MAG2 event is over, hopefully we recieve these rewards sooner than the last MAG

Everything has the same chance of a succesful grind nothing to do with what weapon it is only its rank.
