I use Avast, but I use the pro version. I don't remember how the free version was, but it wasn't quite as reliable (Surprising!)

I've actually heard and seen charts on many things Avira does better and with less requirements than Avast! (along with other anti-virus's), but I don't feel like paying for a whole new Antivirus since I already have one now.

I've used Avira in the past and ditched it- it was returning false positives on too many occasions, and when i DID get a virus, it didn't detect it >_>. Long time user of AVG, but I'm not happy with how it's running lately so I switched to Avast!

Never have I had Norton, and I never want it. Too many horror stories.

A combination of Avira Antivirus and Spybot - Search and Destroy is on my computer.

And Windows Defender/Firewall, but it's just there, y'know?

my laptop - Norton, Spybot, Ad Aware

Desktop - Norton(free 60 day trial thing), Spybot though I dont download anything on the desktop.

Right now Norton, even tough it makes my computer work harder - which means that annoying fan turns on and makes that noise, but other than that, I'm pretty satisfied with how it works. Never had any serious issues with it.
