About Us

MOTBL was founded on September of 2008, we was called "Mercenaries of Light" but until another guild from the (PS2/PC) asked to make a joint guild (merged) both guilds so the name got changed to what you know and see as "Mercenaries of the Banishing Light".

"A group of mature individuals that does Role-Playing in-game or in-forums. While building a tight and close network of individuals who help one another and build strong and lasting relationships, our main goal is to maintain stable alliances with other guilds and even non-guild players in order to help unify the population of our servers and games."

Guild Requirements:

There is no specific requirements to get into MOTBL only to be active in-game and on the forums and guildsite, you can be a noob (LVL 1), but we'd like to get players thats around LVL 20+ if you know of a friend you play with you see that can vouch for you, your welcome to join our guild.

Guild Guidelines/Rules:

Just follow the guildsite guidelines and you be fine .

Here's what we have in the guild, if you are looking for a guild:

Gallery: -Members Only-
Events: We like to hold events for members and give in-game prizes w/ other guild leaders that are allied with us.
Become "Hall of Mecrs": We hold the best members here that is a good team player and likes helping others and having fun.
Guild Bank: -Members Only-
Guild Rankings: We hold trials for members that does missions for that MMO game.
Stream T.V.: This is to see -LIVE- stream of what we are doing in-game, and will be shown on the guildsite for members that can't get on or that just what to see and watch.

PSO-World: -When joined into our guild- (you can join our group for Phantasy Star games.)
Twitter: (in-guildsite) To keep update with the guild and other members.
Youtube: -When joined into our guild-

How To Apply:
1. When you go to our site, on the about MOTBL HQ, click on "CLICK HERE TO JOIN THE GUILD!" when clicked it will take you to our application.

2. Follow the instructions and fill out all necessary fields.

3. Fill in availabity. PLEASE BE TRUTHFUL!

4. click Submit.

5. Upon review of your application our guild leaders will decide if you are rightful to be a mercenary.

6. Your almost there! Your now a member of the guild but you must put in an open application by going:
Guild Forum (under main menu) -> Applications (read the topics that are posted) then put in your open application. All members will read it and post (maybe) and see if they like whats on the application when finish you will finally be a full-time member and will be able to get into our Main forum under Main Menu (you have to make an account to use that forum).
